Greenwich Village Townhouse Renovation & Rooftop Addition

Located in the Greenwich Village Historic District, we added a floor to this brick townhouse to create a rooftop addition and terrace, and gut renovated the floor below. Since the addition is visible from several view points on the street and it is in a landmark district, we had it clad in black zinc and black slate with the stair enclosure sloped to mimic neighboring roof dormers. We also furnished the entire residence (see photos in our Interiors section).
